you made me curious what the difference between a creek and a stream is, as I would call this a stream: in US and Austr.
a narrow, sheltered waterway, especially an inlet in a shoreline or channel in a marsh.
Well, this is certainly a creek and very beautiful it is too, with the mountains peeping through the trees and the foam or ice on the water.

Thank you so much! I think that a creek and a stream are the same thing actually.

Nice shot of the creek flowing through the woods with just a hint of the mountains in the back. Good motion in the water, good overall color. You almost feel like you are there. Well seen.

A nice looking little stretch of stream cutting through the forest. I like the glimpse of the snowy mountainside that gives rise to the quick flowing stream.

This creek looks so relaxing. Do people ever find gold in there? I really like how you framed this photo. I would love to be walking along that creek right now, listening to the water rushing by. Well done and thanks for sharing this with us. :)

Pat,
A beautiful picture of this mountain fast flowing stream Crow Creek framed by the Birches & pines growing on it's banks the stream flowing around large boulders & over it's pebbly bed. Beautiful composition, framing & soft natural lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Do they still find some of that glittering Au? Your nature image presented here has that babbling stream nicely framed by those lovely trees in your fine composition. Exposure and sharpness are good. Nicely done!

a great composition, like how the stream takes us on a journey down through the green trees into the unknown, very good details and depth and colors, like the action in the moving water, a pleasure to look at. thank you for sharing, dale

Gorgeous shot with all the lush shrubbery and the peak of the snow capped mountain int he background. I love the flow of the stream and the dark rocks highlighting it. Very sharp focus and excellent lighting. Beautiful landscape!
