I like the somber expression on her face. It is often how I feel in a crowd. Sometimes I long for the noise around me to stop and that is how this figure looks to me. We are bombarded wit senseless chatter, social media dings, rings, and pings, traffic sounds, industrial sounds. There seems to be a need to fill every silence with a sound. She, like me, needs a little silence to regroup from time to time.

I really like the way the loner , she has dark curly hair and wears glasses she sits alone with her left hand up against her face, she wears green striped shirt, I can see a plant or tree behind her. I am not one who would go to a restaurant alone, I always go with someone. This is well created with good detail, you show the loner very well.

thank you- the University cafe was not a sort of restaurant, it was for those who did not like the German dinners for students and there were many, including me. They put lots of Speck into everything, from red cabbage onwards, though reasonably priced, so most of us chose to go the Uni cafe, which had coffee, tea and bakes, then cook in the evenings, in our student flats and kitchens.

I love how you mixed all the colors in this one. There are so many different green tones next to each other. The hand on her head gives you the feeling that she does not want to be bothered or seen. The dark blue glasses add to the drama and personality of the student. This is a nicely designed artwork with great notes attached.

thank you- I found that german students from different parts of Germany did not mix with each other. Some considered Leipzig a second rate University but had not got into the best West German ones and north German students in particular, kept themselves aloof and on their own table. Foreigners mixed better!
