It was a very interesting process that the artist used to create this piece. To start the drawing with an uneven surface required a great deal of finesse. The results is very different then a normal acrylic painting. I like the owl as the main subject and the tree looks very real. I am impressed. Well done.

This s is completely awesome! I love this owl on the tree against the fall foliage. Incredible detail and textures throughout this work, the tree and branch are so realistic, the owl is well shaped with a great face and I like the colors and tones here! The autumn golds and browns, still some bits of green fills the background and showcases the owl very well! This is impressive and beautifully presented! Best to you in the contest!

This is a great entry for the tactile contest. The textures are rich and throughout the artwork. I have never tried this technique, but it looks fun and creative. Your composition works nicely with the placement of the tree on the left and the angle of the branch. The blue has many different tones in it and harmonizes well against the tan and brown tones. Very lovely image to view.
