This is one of my favorites. The wide open, the road that is less traveled and winds to a place few can truly appreciate. You captured an image that reminded me of "home" thank you for sharing!

I like the way the road disappears in the distance too!
Very nice fall foliage, I am enjoying seeing all of these fall foliage shots, I don't get to see that here in Florida, its a treat to view all of the photos like this one on here.
Great composition!
I really love the way the fall foliage colors lead up to the foot of the mountains and how you can see that in your photo as well as the clouds touching the top of mountain in the background and the road in the middle that disappears.
Very nice contrast of those darker green trees that sort of line the road against the autumn foliage.

A great perspective on this straight piece of road. I like the way it goes from the full width of the frame to a vanishing point in the middle of the image. The colors are beautiful.

I agree. The highway disappears into the vast wilderness. The future unknown. The adventure awaits whom ever decides to venture. I know you will and have and want too.

I recently visited my 50th state, and seldom did I see a road with a vista ahead of me like this! The expanse of land is well presented, and the mountain and its colors add lots of interest at the road's end.
