clayzie, The background is murky for a picture shot in a place filled with sunshine. It looks like a storm is coming in to shore. The shoreline is nice.

Mayan ruins. I went to Cen. America when I was in highschool... I just wish I was interested in photography when I had the chance to be climbing pyramids at sunrise!
This is a very nice "view" shot. This would make an excellent brochure photo or postcard. Very serene.

clayzie, this too has appeal, especially the colours and tones you have captured in the water and cloudy sky. There is also a great deal of depth to the image. The photograph loses much, however, because the rocky shore is so very dark. Peace, Papa.

Nice color in the water. The shot just needs more interest and detail. I look forward to seeing more of your work. Keep em coming.

This would be a beautiful scene to have a photograph of, however, in this particular shot, I am seeing a lot of magenta, particularly in the clouds, the rocks, and the sand of the beach. It also isn't in focus. What kind of camera did you use to take this with? Was it digital or film? Digital cameras can shoot magenta, yellow, or cyan, and sometimes one has to compensate for that using the white balance setting (some point and shoot digital cameras have this). Scanners, when used to scan in negatives or prints, can also cause a color shift. If you have image editing software, you may want to try color correcting this shot. It would look a lot better and you'd have a better picture to represent the good time I am sure you had in Cancun. :)

Overall, concept is good, color needs correcting, scene framing is good, needs a little contrast adjustment. Good start. If you color correct it, let me know and I'll come back and review it again. I think this piece has potential.
