This is a very familiar view for me. When I came to England, we lived on the Lincolshire Wolds, on an old Bomber Command Base turned refugee camp, in the middle of nowhere. I had to walk miles and miles to the nearest school, over fields and woods /yes at 8yrs old/Kids nowadays would die if they had to do that twice a day. I walked through this sort of terrain, covered in moses, trees and rocks every day. I did not realise how beautiful it was, till I came to live in a city. My rocky, mosy outcrop now are the walls when we have had a lot of rain, as recently!

OMG , I love forests and this one looks like magi with all the soft greens covering up the roots
super view point as we can see the way or even not - great frame choice
I love the different perspective on with the trunks and the soft greens from the smaller ones
excellent sharpness , contrast and lighting , a nice composition with a good initial impression and a softness that normally is missing in forest shots, well seen, well done

I think this is extra interesting since I don't see so much moss in the woods where I walk in Minnesota. It looks so thick and the color is great in this image.

A kind of landscape a lot of People don't pay attention to because they are preoccupied looking at the trees. You have photographed this so well and I especially like how the light is coming in from behind and falling so lovely on the ground.
Your photo is very Sharp full of great textures, and it is also Clear and well defined details to be seen all over. The exposure is Perfect, and the colors so Nice and Natural.
The format and framing is very good and by the placement of the Three large trees, it is a very good Balance in the composition. I also like the low perspective. This is a truly beautiful and well taken photo, and With an excellent DOF.
