She is gorgeous but only looks about twelve years of age and much as it is a beautiful photo, the fact that it could be used to advertise a story on the site, is a bit of a worry. Best wishes.

The stained brwnish red background gives it an old west look.
She is a lovely girl.
But, the smile is... i think it looks forced.
The giant cow boy hat is great. I would think that you daughter in a smart riding habit and seated on a horse with a natural look and smile would have a more authentic appeal.
(You can always hire a horse if you don't have one!)
Well Done!

This has the appearance of being taken in the old west. She looks like a cowgirl. I like the yellow tint on the whole thing. It gives it the texture for the old west. Well done.

Very good job! I like the sepia tone with the velvety black. She is anchored well into the black front with lots of atmosphere around her. Her hair swinging forward adds to the western appeal. Nice Pic- lovely doughter!

First of all let me compliment you. Your daughter is a beautiful girl, with a fabulous smile. That in itself should make a great subject matter. I guess for me there are several issues. Seeing a young girl in a dress so far off her shoulders with eye make up on is a little distracting. It presents a lolita look that kind of makes me uncomfortable. She is hunched over and seems uncomfortable in the scenario herself which then reinforces that feeling. I would rather see her dressed up like a cowgirl or something. I bet she would enjoy that more herself. I hope you won't be offended. I am NOT criticising. I don't think their is anything wrong it just feels forced. Looking forward to seeing more of your work.

She is a beautiful young girl. When I was her age I loved dressing up and posing with my moms dresses on. Mom had these fabulous 50's cocktail gowns. I would kill to own them now, but I ruined everyone. Im lucky I have such a forgiving mom.

This is a very good looking photograph. I like how you captured the old photo look with the colors here. It would be nice to see her upon horseback dressed as she is too.

I liked the sepia cast to this piece. Your daughter's beauty, indeed, is evident. Beautiful eyes, her posture portraying a shyness, innocence. The dark blend of the hat, the dress and the table cover is a nice touch. Your subject is centered, lit nicely and focused. The only thing off, is her smile looked a bit forced, but still, it is lovely. A picture to treasure for years to come. They grow so fast.

This is a good photo. I am not a big fan of old-style photographs because I think a more normal approach to the color would have been better with most that are done that way. One thing to point out is that photography was in its early stages then, she wouldn't be smiling because the picture would have been taken over several minutes.

This is an okay picture but its a little hard to see the face clearly. OIther then that it's fine and it even looks like the Old West. Keep up the great work, Carolzpac!

This is a nice photograph. The open mouth of the subject is distracting, however. It has the quality of the old sepia toned photos.
