What a great entry into a contest like this Willie. It is amazing how green the lore is, and I really like the Close and personal approach. The light is falling on the head of the bird in such a lovely way, and it is standing out from the dark background in an excellent way.

Your Focus is spot on and Sharp showing such Clear and well defined details in every part of the bird, and the white Balance and exposure is just Perfect.

The tight cropping looks great and the bird has got a very fine placement within the frame. Indeed a lovely and well taken photo With an excellent DOF, and I wish you Luck With the contest.
