It took me a while to decipher this. I kept asking myself if it was a drawing, in a disbelief tone mind you. Does this tell you anything? I can't say anything else about this because, to simply put it, it's Abso-freaking-lutely wonderful!

Thank-you. This one didn't take that long at all because I used a LOT of overall blending, which speeds everything up so much. Thanks for reviewing!

I think this one took about 4 or 5 hours to do. Well, it's hard to say if pencil is my favorite. It is definitely one that I enjoy, but there is still SO much that I haven't tried much of yet. (Oil/Chalk pastels, air brush, oil, acrylic, and the list goes on.) Thanks for the review.

Both the lizard and the rock are so realistic looking. You really have a knack with graphite. The only thing I could think of to suggest would be to add more dark shadows since most of the drawing has mid-tones. The deep contrast would be interesting. Really great piece!

Both the lizard and the rock are so realistic looking. You really have a knack with graphite. The only thing I could think of to suggest would be to add more dark shadows since most of the drawing has mid-tones. The deep contrast would be interesting. Really great piece!

Thanks. The mid section of him, around his front leg, jaw, and belly is really washed out from the flash of the camera (which I should have excluded). I need to retake the shot, but maybe that's what makes it seem that way. I've had a few similar comments, and I'm sure that's all it is. That part is really just as dark as under his tail. Thank-you very very much for taking the time to review!

You did a really excellent job reproducing this wonderful animal. The pencil works so well here. My only nit pick is that the comp is too tight. Leave some room around the edges so it doesn't appear that the lizard is so boxed in. Other than that, beautiful work. :-)

Thanks. Everyone says that. It's that way because I had to crop; the picture was crooked, and I was cropping out the matte. It ended up cutting really close to his nose, but the original has space. Thanks again.
