Really nice job on this piece of artwork on mimicking the aboriginal style and technique of their art form.
Good use of color and variation of the size of the dots throughout the composition.

Just to let you know I thought your work here excellent. You made a very appealing piece. I agree with your notes. I enjoyed and found the subject inspiring. It ended up only the two of us .. sad no more entered. There was another but it disappeared

It was disappointing that more people didn't enter this one. I would like to see it become a site sponsored contest, which won't happen if only two people enter! As soon as I saw the description I was motivated to give it a try - and I thought it was very fun. I think your entry was a much better representation of Aboriginal art. Congrats on the win!

It is so I am finding not enough here for artists variety. A lot of repeated ones popping up but as you say if not well attended the site wont make it a main one. We two could keep doing them and posting as ordinary posts. We will be in the running for monthly awards etc. If you agree i give you a challeng you do an undersea one and I do an animal one say in the next 4 weeks just for fun. Xx B next month you challenge me and do on. The site will get used to seeing that type of art. Pointillism is another similar type of art.

Hi Brenda, I'm sorry it took me so long to reply to your last remarks. I obviously don't look at FAR very often! I just saw that there is another dot art contest. I hope you will enter it. I think I might. As far as your suggestion for the two of us to play around with dot art for the fun of it. I like the idea, but worry that I don't spend enough time on FAR. I'll send a message to your inbox when I think I can spend more time, if that is alright with you.

Wow this is really gorgeous I love the work you did using dots. It's beautiful. I love the pattern you created in the background and the colors are gorgeous it works so well with the two beautiful giraffes. You have so much talent and so much imagination.
