A great catch of this busy bee on the bright and colorful camelia. This is very nicely composed with an interesting angle. I especially like the multiple number of stamens; I haven't seen a flower with so many.

amazing work. the colors are beautiful, what a stunning flower. the red and yellow of both the flower and it's stamens and the bee look so good together, the desaturated greys and browns and greens in the background draw all the more attention to the beautiful centerpiece

This is so skillfully photographed. The bee inside adds extra value to the work. The yellow stamens are nice. The red camellia bloom is beautiful. The background is nice. You included so much in one close up that I must give you a "6".

An amazing photo presented here. I love how you muted the background which highlights your beautiful flower. The lovely shades of the red pedals and the yellow center calling to the insect. Amazing shot!!

Lovely clear detail of the yellow stamens, which was obviously your intention for focus for this contest. The contrast against the vibrant red petals makes this very eye catching!

Your camera settings are well established and have produced a high resolution image of good contrast, color and tonal range. I can just make out the outline of the wings - well done.

Excellent framing of the stamens - sharp and each head is clearly seen. The detail of the Honey Bee is soft but that does not matter since it is not the center of interest of this take.

I think this is very creative presentation with a fine story to be told and should do well in the contest ... Bob

This is a great close up of the flower stamens in a really colourful flower - well done. However, the out-of-focus bee spoils the picture for me. I know she is moving but I think that I would have either waited until she had gone or settled before taking the picture. The lighting on the flower is good though so good luck with it in the competition.

Fred,
A beautiful picture of your red Camelia with a Honeybee in flight to collect pollen her head is in sharp focus while the wings & abdomen shows a movement blur, for myself this does not detract from the image, the red petals & the stamens are all in sharp focus. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus on the flower.

This is beautiful flower and bee photography. You have timed it well. The light, and the composition have worked well and you have caught the busy-bee in action very well. Good effort.
