This is a very pretty image and the swirling leaves do look like flames.
The variegated leaves are engaging shades of green and are in perfect focus.
Quite an engaging and peaceful image!

These are plantain lilies or commonly called Hosta. So many variegated leaves twisted and uniquely formed. This is a very nice pic and you do them justice with this wonderful shot. All the best in the contest. Ray

Beautiful shot for this contest category, it could easily have been submitted for the Abstract II photo contest as well, with all of its intertwined shapes and spaces. Nice composition, clarity and lighting. This photo is so clear and vibrant it looks 3-dimensional. Nice Shot!

A beautiful picture of the variegated Ivy it's pointed leaves with the light flash in the centre of the leaf do resemble the shape of tongues of flames in a fire. Artistic composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus. Good luck in the contest.

Good one for my contest is this,almost an abstract in this one,and sometimes even an ordinary subject can be interesting given the right circumstances,full on green and with slightly different shades of green,good one...Brian

I like this one, and just perfect for the colour Green contest!
Focus is absolutely spot on, I can't see a blur anywhere!
Colours are rich without being oversaturated and the composition is good, as the frame is filled with nothing to distract away.
