These lovely lilies are so well placed on their lime green background that my brain keeps turning them into slices of watermelon. While I'm typing, I can only see the bottom two leaves and I keep seeing watermelon in my peripheral view. Really nice color choices, the combination of the pinks and reds against the vibrant green have me drooling for yup,...you guessed it... watermelon. Well done my friend!

I really like the way you drew that flower the way it stands out. The way the light reflects off the pedal. I don't like the red with the green background but that is a personal opinion.

Thanks for the review. You indicate such fine likings yet give a three and one half. Hope you will reconsider and bring that rating up. I am not used to having such low ratings as you have given on both works.

I love it. Especially the foreshortening on the petals. I could never get that quite right. You did an amazing job. I also love the attention to detail in the colours and the way they flow into each other.

I am in awe of your talent with water colors and colored pencils. The lilies are beautiful with the blending of the reds, pinks, and yellows. They look very realistic. I do think your background takes a bit away from the beauty of the flowers but all in all I lovely piece!

Red Lily - The color of blood, red lily desire, passion, and romance.
Pink Lily - A feminine color, pink lilies can mean grace, prosperity, and abundance. The pink, striped stargazer lily specifically means ambitious.
