This is a fine-looking shot of the national park with a single road going through it.. You have framed it well. The light and shadows, colours and, composition have worked out well. Good luck!

A splendid way to depict man's impact on the landscape.
The composition is great as the road meanders through the Badlands taking the viewer with it. Good clarity and DoF.
The road while wide and sweeping must have some troublesome features to have a 45 mph speed limit.
Good luck in the contest.

Just think ... this area used to be the sea bottom!
That's an interesting and very nicely-presented picture,my friend.
I'm enjoying it very much!

Yup, one look and right off you know these are "Bad lands" so let's us make a national park out of em! Not quite an oxymoron but close.

Your fine, full and appropriate composition offers us an enjoyable view of the road to the badlands, well done.

Good luck in the contest... Bob

This is a lovely and lonely photo. Wouldn't want to be the only one on this journey. I love how the blue sky highlights the Rocky Mountain peaks and the winding road that is travelling towards them. Very well thought out!!

Good contest entry for Man Impacted Landscape. The highway/road is very clear as it curves and approaches the Badlands National Park towards the mountains. Yes one lonely car on the road. The vegetation looks very dry on either side, must not get much rain. All the best in the contest!

An interesting & beautiful landscape in the Badlands National Park, in South Dakota. with the road making an "S" bens in the foreground while the along the horizon are Rocky outcrops created over eons of time as the surface of the rocks are worn down bit by bit. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques& sharp focus. Good luck in the contest.
