I had a similar entry that I was going to use (same flower), but decided to go with another photo I had; seeing yours, I'm glad I did, it would have looked too much like i was copying you! this is a lovely photo of a Monarch on a Mexican sunflower bloom, the flower's colors compliment those of the butterfly, as does the blurred flowers in the background. A lovely composition, my best wishes to you!

Oh I wish I had 6 stars left for this beautiful image. Perfect timing and spot on focus to capture all that detail in both the flower and the butterfly with such great clarity. The dof giving the perfect blurred background- this is a strong contender for a win in the contest and I've enjoyed viewing it.
