Thanks Sean. Wish I could have gone higher. We went to another lookout but the road was closed. And since I am walking with a cane I couldn't walk the mile uphill. Took my son and his friend an hour!!!

A beautiful picture of this tree covered mountain scenery with the trees foliage ablaze in their autumnal colours of russet & gold under a blue sky with high flying white clouds. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

Certainly a nice view captured well. I like the colour in the foreground but well really helps the image for me is the cloud on the right being almost an arrow that directs the viewers vision right into the heart of the image accentuating the view. Well done

This is a skilled shot of a soft, calming and beautiful scene. I just love the large soft cloud hanging over and the sky. The distant low mountain or purples against the sky are also lovely, as are the colorful trees, foliage. Best wishes in the contest.

Magnificent! The colors are even more vibrant maybe because of the setting of the sun. The shadow simply adds a dramatic effect in your composition, and the pastel sky made a nice contrast with the golden foliage. Well captured.
