Well taken capturing texture and tone. I like the stairs as a leading line into the image and a good decision to choose the 'portrait' shape as opposed to a traditional landscape image. Looks like it could have lots of character and many stories.

Thank you, Phil! It is the color and textures of the old wood that kept drawing my eye to the building.

You have captured this scene with excellent camera and artistic technique.
This take has excellent color reproduction, camera angle, contrast and detail.

Thank you, Bob! I do love the colors in the wood. So many old buildings are mostly gray.

I bet this old building has some stories to tell about what has gone on inside and I wonder how it ended up like this? It's a great shot with a lot of clear detail, you captured the textures of the wood really well. A really good contest entry!

If only the walls (what's left of them) could talk. Thank you, Christine.

Thank you, Brian! You would definitely have your work cut out for you if you were to work on this building. Several of the walls are missing and there is over 80 years of rot to deal with.

Thank you! I took several photos of the building but this was the best of the bunch as I feel the lines, angles, and colors in the wood really showed well.
Can you say "Money Pit"?
