WOW Christine !
This is a wonderful digital artwork that can't describe your feelings any better. I am sorry for all you are going through - and your husband.
Beautiful details and the motion that you captured so creatively.
I am out of sixes as this deserves some. Good luck!!

Hi Christine, The moment I saw this I knew there was a story attached! My mother had a stroke about 20 years ago and is no longer with us. I know what it's like to take care of someone you love. Anxiety is high and you feel a lot of despair and worry! I'm so glad to know your bringing in help to ease the burden on you. I know I was constantly worried about getting sick and wondering what would happen to my mom if I did. Your husband is lucky to have you. I hope the extra help makes him more comfortable. I know, that knowing he's well taken care of would be a big help. My prayers are definitely with the both of you.
I think this image truly captures the feelings your having now. The ship has no idea what its destination is and no way of controlling it. The darkness kinds of swallows it up. I even like the way you did the clouds they give the feeling of story seas. .......So sorry any of this is taking place. Your art can really help you thru times like this, because it gives you a way to release what's pent up inside. I wish I with everything in me I had a six to Bless this with! Take Care My Friend! Hugs!!!!! :o) Nancy

After reading of your situation, I believe the composition is an excellent depiction of your feelings. Your sails are torn as you drift. The gentle night breeze pushes you toward the light. The future is unknown but God and the light are moving you in the right direction. Be strong and know that people care.

Oh Christine, I'm so sad to hear that he's arrived at this point, life is so unfair, and I'm so sorry that you are one carrying this burden alone, I wish we lived nearer!
But immersing yourself in your art is an excellent way to get through, and this piece says it all. I love it as an image in itself, but more so because of what it portrays.
Keep strong,
Charlotte

AN enchanting work. The vivid colors and intricate details. the light and shadow interplay of the moonlit night brought this boat scene to life. Well done! Good luck!

A good looking image posted here into the competition! Your fine and classical composition offers us a good view of that stricken vessel struggling along through a lonely night, just like you are. My mother in-law, 87, is has dementia too and we travel 40 miles or so every 2/3 days. I can, therefore, fully understand what you are living through. All the best, its a great image too!
