A beautiful black & white picture of this white Rose encrusted with Dewdrops sparkling like liquid Diamonds in the sunlight. The rose is standing out in sharp contrast with the dark background. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus. Good luck in the Contest.

Nice image just a little bit to plain for me maybe some color would have made it a better image for me but that's just me the sharpness is great

The white balance control is in control.
The white of the petals highlights the dew drops and makes them sparkle so.
There is a case to be made for not showing more of the center structures. But not from me, for I am a dew and or rain drop person. So this shot appeals a great deal to me.
This piece is very well done and should do very well in the contest... Bob

What a fascinating photo. The folding of the petals shows natures creativity and the fact that the dew drops don't saturate the flower, they only cool it in the early morning sun. The photo shows how the rose takes care of itself.

Good photo of this rose for sure and qualifys for my contest,but i have had a look at entrys so far and there there is a variety of subjects which is what i was after,and do prefer flower shots for flower contests[but guess i am alone in that thought] but it is a good one and not often they are in b/w...Brian
