The composition is perfect, a fine example of the rule of thirds!
I would have given it a six, but the front of the figure is so dark that it's lost all detail, which is such a shame.
I know you don't do much editing, but this one would have been really worth doing a bit of extra work.

I think you have either shown this before or something similiar,but that aside the horizon is leaning a tad and the fisherman is completely dark and therefore not enough detail on him,pity really because its good to capture local stuff when visiting places...Brian

A beautiful stop action picture of this Fisherman in Myanmar about to drop in his conical fishing net as he propels his boat with a long oar controlled by his right leg. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus. Good luck in the contest.
