I think this is a great entry to the contest. The bee's colors greatly contrast against the pink background. Focus and clarity are excellent, showing good detail of the bee's body hair. Good luck in the contest.

Think if the dof had just been a tad bigger this would have been worth more[difficult i know] and the pink flower is a tad bright but its still a good one for this contest...Brian

It's a great capture. Bees are great subjects for macro photography. However I feel the pink is to bright and over takes the subject. The bee itself seems slightly out of focus. I would tone down the pink a bit, blur it and leave the color of the bee alone. That way the bee would stand out more. Thanks for sharing and good luck in the contest.

A beautiful picture of the worker Bombus Impatients with her pollen baskets bulging with pollen. The light sparkling in her eyes & glistening on her gossamer wings while highlighting her throax abdomen & legs so she stands out from the magenta flower she's alighted upon. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

Lovely photo, well focused, especially if this little guy was constantly on the move, I have experience tryin to capture these guys, lol,,, I so agree with the work ethics of today from people especially in service jobs
