The shape of this is what strikes me most plus the color is strikong against the black background,don,t no what aperture you used in this as the back petals are not in focus as much as the front ones,not that it makes any difference as it is a good photo....Brian

Wow. This is definitely a beautiful orchid. Looks that it could be a corsage for a special occasion. The purple color is vivid. Love that. The black background is a perfect choice for presentation.

Wow you certainly have the most beautiful orchids this one is now exception.
Love the two tone color which is unusual in being both speckled in some sections an solid in others. Beautiful composition set off nicely with the black background.

I love orchids and this plant looks quite special with all the small flowers in a cluster. I like the all black background making the flowers stand out so well, and also how lovely the light is falling on them
The photo is sharp showing clear and well defined details, and the white balance and exposure is perfect.
I also like the tall format you have cropped the photo into, and the fine placement of the cluster within the frame. A truly lovely and well taken photo.

The colors are magnificent especially when juxtaposed to the black background - eye candy for sure.
