This is an incredible use if color and the almost silouhette use of the child flying the kite is very touching. I love how this picture and the dark colors help it feel like a distant memory but a very fond memory. Gorgeous picture!

I'm glad you decide to do the kite, it's beautiful! Love the boy and his kite silhouetted against the sunset colored sky as he runs down the trail, hoping to get his kite airborne. It brought back memories of the times my Dad would take me up to the field behind the high school to fly my own kite, I had forgotten about that, so thank you! My very best wishes to you in the contest with this wonderful image!
