Hi Ray.. right after taking this shot the jet went vertical and accelerated. It was so quick I didn't have time to focus before it was above the clouds.

This is an amazing capture of flight and best wishes in the contest. It brings back many historical memories from earlier movies that pictured these special planes. Also thanks for sharing such a treasure.

A difficult shot to capture as these planes are so fast. I like the angle you caught, but the shot is slightly out of focus. A good contrast of the aero plane against a pale sky and white clouds. Good luck in the contest.

This is a great capture of a great plane. You have to have a telephoto lens and fast shutter speed to get this shot. We watched them fly around this winter at a stay near Elgin air force base in Florida. It is amazing the power they have and how load they are when flying, even in the distance they are loud. Very nice capture!!

This is a great capture of a great plane. You have to have a telephoto lens and fast shutter speed to get this shot. We watched them fly around this winter at a stay near Elgin air force base in Florida. It is amazing the power they have and how load they are when flying, even in the distance they are loud. Very nice capture!!

Hi Allan.. A great plane indeed! In order to prove the F-22's value a contest between five F-15's and one F-22 was proposed. With the contest over the score was F-22 5, F-15's 0. Three of the F-15 pilots stated they never saw the F-22 before being KIA.

These are not easy to get i know because i have taken a few at air shows,okay a long lens was required for this but you don,t always get a good one,the position of the plane climbing is quite good....Brian
