This is a superb capture of the female moose and her eating her breakfast. I agree with you that her "look of curiosity" and expressions, especially those eyes, make this composition. The blue background brings more serenity. Thanks for sharing, artist friend.

I can only imagine the joy of having a wild moose in my backyard! This image is crystal clear with perfect focus, the fur in the ears looks so soft that I want to reach out and give it a stroke. I love that you got her looking down the lens. Great photography!

And very tasty they look too, reckon she was worried that you would tell her off! Your fine, full and appropriate composition offers us an enjoyable view of that hungry youngster. Nicely done!

A wonderful shot Pat, oh to have moose wander into my back yard, sigh.
Focus, lighting, exposure and composition are all superb, but I particularly love that we can see his breath, showing how very cold a morning it was!

You are right! You were able to capture that expressive gaze that speaks. Maybe she is so hungry and just waiting for you to go away so that she can continue with her meal. I like the natural colors and the solid background. This subject is amazing. My dream shot!

What a lovely photo of this young beauty, I love how you have captured the detailing in her fur and her gorgeous eyes as she looks at you, happily munching away on some branches! I watched one of my fans eating some twigs, they don't look very tasty to me, but what do I know-lol! This is just a lovely photo, makes me want to reach out and stroke her muzzle!

She looks really lovely munching away on some thin branches, and the fur looks so soft and silky. I can even see the breath from the young moose.
The bluish and softened background is perfect for the animal to stand out sharp and well defined, and it is clear details to be seen. The exposure is spot on.
The tight cropping has worked well and the moose has got a fine placement within the frame. A truly lovely and well taken photo Pat, and with an excellent DOF.

Pat,
A beautiful picture of the yearling Moose chewing on the fine branches off one of your trees, as she stands out from the blurred blue grey of the sky above. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

Great photograph you captured here, my friend.
He is probably asking for more juicier and greener branches but for now it is all he gets.
Excellent image and presentation.
