What a cute little guy! You have captured him perfectly. The focus and clarity are great, showing the very detail and colors of his feathers. The pale background serves to make his colors standout. Very nice.!

I just love Mr. Redpoll. He looks so cute sitting on the top of the seeds, and is of course standing out from the softened background in an excellent way. I also like the way the light is falling on him.

Your focus is spot on and sharp and it is such clear and well defined details to be seen in the feathers of the bird, and the exposure is perfect. Fine textures in the snow as well.

The photo is nicely cropped, and the bird has got a fine placement a bit off to the right. A truly lovely and well taken photo Pat, and with an excellent DOF.

What a handsome little Redpoll! Love the enhancement of the sparkling snow and seeds. The blurry sky is a beautiful backdrop as well! I would love to play with your camera. But I am thankful to not be in the cold! :) smiles.
Your photography is some of the best nature images on this site! Nice capture my friend!

Pat,
A beautiful portrait of this Gentlemen Redpoll with a black Sunflower Seed on his beak, the light sparkling in his eye as he watches you. the light also highlighting his colourful plumage as he stands out from the snow in the background, Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques& sharp focus.

Pat this is a beautiful capture of a Male Redpoll about to dig in and enjoy a delicious meal of sunflower seeds. You show all the colors and design and the tell-tail red chest and crown. Very enjoyable. Ray
