Actually, I believe this is the carpenter bee not the bumble bee but in any case, it is definitely not the hummingbird moth. Composition is good. My mark down is for quality. Too tight of a crop may have contributed to that. The light is also a tad too harsh. I do like the nice blurred background which keeps our attention on the subject with no distractions.

Thank you for your review, and I realized it after I had already posted this that it was a bee. JackJr.

Jack,
I hate to disappoint you but this a Common eastern bumblebee ~ Bombus impatiens rather than a Hummingbird Hawk moth ~ Macroglossum stellatarum . The moth has opaque orange wing a pale furry body, longer an antennae & an very long proboscis that it uses to suck up the nectar.
The bee is beautiful with it's shiny gossamer wigs folded over each other over it's back the light is glowing in it's large complex eyes as it contrasts with the pink flower buds. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
Susan

I really appreciate your review and my photo did not turn out like I wanted it to and I realized the mistake on what this was after I had already posted it. JackJr.

A reasonable looking nature image posted here! Your fine and full composition suffers from the fact that the image is not sharp. Colours and tones are OK.

Thank you for your review once again, it did not turn out the way that I wanted it to, but I really do appreciate it. JackJr.

The only reason I didn't do a 5 star rating is because, I think it would look even better sharper/clearer. Unless it's just my phone, in that case, I apologize. I love how the wings reflect the color of the flower and how the fuzzy part looks fuzzy. Makes me want to pet it. lol thanks for sharing!
