Man lived as one with nature right up to the time we became "civilized", Charlotte.

This shot is a beautiful essay from several points of view. The Ecological portrayal course, but the art of the medium is so exquisitely demonstrated in the framing and technical choices of this piece - bravo.

Photography is supposed to tell a story and this one speaks volumes... Bob

Thank you SO much Bob! I always appreciate your inciteful reviews, and this is no exception! Yes, "civilization" has a lot to answer for and it is unfortunately getting very rapidly worse - money appears to overrule many conservation efforts!

A very interesting and unique visual presented here of those water buffalo. Composition, shades, tones, colours and textures are very very well done. Thank you for sharing.

This is a great looking wild life shot. This is a wonderful shot of nature. You have timed it well. The light and shadows, colours, and composition have worked out well. Good luck in the contest!

Charlotte,
A very beautiful picture of the Water buffalo with an Egret on his back & six more flying overhead with the mist almost hiding the trees in the background. Artistic composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

This is a great entry into the contest, which does shoo how different species can live in harmony, to each other's benefit. The misty background ads interest to the whole photograph

the bird on the critters back is saying "you fellas fly ahead! ill just take the bus!" lol. nice capture. the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of this critter and birds in the tall grass is great. the capture of the light is great. the presentation is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall

I have always believed in teamwork but I think that this has it beat. It is a funny thing that if man would study the traits of animals and see how they get along maybe it might happen that they might learn a thing or two. But I think that will never happen. I like the way that you have him off centered where it looks like he has a long way to go, I also like the fog or the mist coming off of the water with the bird getting a free ride on the buffalos back. Keep up the great work and I wish you the best in the contest. JackJr.

Hi Jack, thank you SO much for your wonderful review and the six stars! Unfortunately I think you're right, man is too greedy! I really appreciate your understanding of why I posted this one.
