Somebody has been dipping their toes into the Ai juice. Really great job. I know who this is but can't say or the FaR cops will get me. I have a crystal ball. Sees all. Hee hee. Your writing narrative is what makes art or photography more meaningful. I get a little peek into your life. I really wish more would do what you did. You are so darn talented. You also have a very kind heart. I want to see a bayou someday. Does the gases that bubble and rise up smell like sulfur-really rotten eggs? Up by Yosemite and near Salton Sea the Wild hot springs smell like that. Thanks for stirring my memory about good old Charlie Pride. My father loved him. A Flash back to good things and good times. Music and Art are endless enjoyable mediums that link us together. You sure were blessed with a bunch of colorful and very talented people in Mississippi. I bb only a tiny bit. When we lived in Cypress, Ca Tiger Woods was raised around the block from us. His father the Colonel lived there till he died. Not as exciting as yours. Again, thank you for sharing a little bit about you with old me. Stay Always Blessed ~ Cindy Sue

Now in Hot Springs Ark they have that Kind of Springs but not the bayou don't bubble like Hot Springs. In some áreas the water is still and stagnate. There is a lot if Moss in the water and on a Hot no breeze day that is when that funny smell begins to rise and spread. Back when I was in the Army I flew home on leave and when I got off the plane and that rotten egg small Hit me I hollered "yep I am home!"..lol..thanks for the awesome review

A great submission to the contest. The subject matter is clear and well defined; and the picture depicts the reality of cypress wetlands. There are many parts of Florida that are similar to the bayou, and there many native Floridians that are southern crackers.

i have lived all over Florida and the bayous are a lil similar but the gators here are lil smaller (thank goodness)..most of your rednecks you will find on the western side (Gulf side)of the state...but in that mix you will also find folks from the northern areas that i have mentioned...how do i know? well the first thing someone up north comes to Florida they introduce themselves and announce where they are from and how awesome it is in their home area. oh yeah if it is January and 40 or 50 degrees for the short time , that individual will make this statement "it's not as cold as where i'm from!"..oh really like no one has been to their neck of the woods huh? one time i was waiting on some Canadians and they were talking about how screwed America is. i asked them "if America is that screwed up then why are you doing here in Florida?"..they said they were here for Disney..my reply is "oh so your saying the only good American is Micky Mouse huh?"....what is sad im a half breed cajun..my people originated from that area about 100 yrs ago before coming to the states..As a army vet you can say i got on the defensive with individuals that disrespect our country like that.... glad you have enjoyed this digital work and thanks or the great review.

A good looking nature image posted here, together with interesting and copious notes too! Your fine and classical composition offers us an enjoyable view of your swampy location. Colours, textures and tones are fine. Well created and good luck!
