A beautiful picture of Bush covered in unexpected snow & on the ground with a circle of green grass immediately below the bush. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

A good looking image presented here into the competition! Your fine, full and appropriate composition offers us an enjoyable view of that beautiful, small, snowy tree. Textures, colours and tones are good. Exposure and sharpness are fine. Well done and good luck!

This is a pretty and unusual rendition. the dark background shows the bush , especially well as it is covered in snow. it would be a good Christmas scene for a card. Good luck in the contest.

A simple, but technically strong, night shot. I love the snow that stayed on these leaves and the contrasting dark background. The lighting is excellent. Well placed in the vertical frame. Best of luck in this contest.

This phot is relevant, it is poignant, it is honest but most of all it is a prime example of how to create a challenging nighttime shot exceptionally well.
Night shots can be very problematic due to the extremes in contrast. Those contrast considerations are well handled in this shot.
The shifts in color and contrast are clear and sharply delineated. White balance control is awesome.
Focus and DOF are excellent. Every technical consideration has been met and/or exceeded.
Not only is this an excellent entry but I think I am looking at the winner.
