What a capture of the strong juvenile Bald Eagle. Just the actions of pulling, pulling expresses what strength this bird has, along with its determination to bring food home. Thanks again for sharing a great display. The background is nice, the blues highlighting the emotions. Looks like he has worked up a sweat, glitter in his wings.

Pat what an amazing stop action shot of this Juvenile Bald Eagle. Wonderful clear detail as he focuses on the fish. I haven't seen an Bald Eagle yet close up, hoping to.

Hi alaskapat, I love this photo of a juvenile bald eagle taking a fish. Right place and right time to catch this. I also like the slight bokeh in the background. Predator and prey at the edge of the shoreline. Congratulations and well done. Cheers

Wow, in addition to you great camera skills, you always have such interesting subjects to photograph. Most of us would never see this type of image without you posting them.

The action you captured here is very dynamic. You can just feel the tug of the eagle on the fish. The diagonal line from fish to bird adds interest.
Focus on the subject is great with some fading in foreground and background works well to highlight the main subject,
Well done and very enjoyable to review.

Wow that is an awesome capture Pat your timing to get this was perfect.
Composition is good and focus is sharp on the eye of the Juvenile eagle.
Colors appear natural.
Blurred background works well.

An excellent action shot and perfect timing and place. I like your angle showing the whole scene of the eagle catching its meal with its wingspan. Well captured.

A good looking nature image posted here! Your fine and full composition captures a dramatic moment of a predator hard at work. Like the wing display. Exposure and sharpness are fine. Well done!
