The Black Capped Chickadee is a favorite of mine. We have lots and I never get tired of seeing them.
This one is beautiful Bob and so well photographed . You have brought out such nice detail in feathers, face and beak and a clear eye.
The bird is well placed within the frame to allow a nice side profile view as it sits on the rhododendron.
Well focused, this image is sharp and clear and your exposure is perfect. Colors and tones appear natural.
The chickadee is standing out beautifully from the dark background.
Well composed and presented!

Hi Bob, Sounds like you had the perfect timing to capture this little guy! I know how reflections can make a bird feel like there's a rival around they want to chase off. LOL This is a very nice shot with great lighting and focus! Nicely Done! :o) Nancy

Nice bird shot with good detail in it and the lightish bit of the background just highlights the bird enough in this,dof spot on as well.and you can make out its eye which is good...Brian

The focus is perfect, from his pointed little beak to the tip of his tail, and the light spot captured in his eye gives life to his eye.
Perfect composition with lovely blurred background.
