A very beautiful picture of the lake shore rising up from lake the trees growing on the slopes showing their beautiful Autumnal colours that are ten reflected on the lake's glistening surface along with the large rock in the lake in the foreground. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp Focus.

Hi Bob, What ever the reason for the color difference the shot is beautiful against the steep mountains and the lake reflection. You captured some very pretty hues. Scenic views like this always capture the eye. Lighting and focus are really nice! Good Job! :o) Nancy

And the 'science lesson' in your notes is so fascinating - I'm now looking forward to the moment when someone asks "Why...." and I can repeat what I've just learnt! Lol
The autumn colours reflected in the water are wonderful and I love that you've place the large rock in the forefront of the image, it brings it all together so well.

The elongated view suits this aspect very well. The composition is interesting along with your notes. I like the feature of the rock in the water it draws the eye and you can follow the lineup to see the beautiful colours of the autumn trees; the elongated portrait style suits this presentation

Seeing all of these colors of trees is simply beautiful. You captured the raw beauty of these trees during fall. But not only that to see them in the reflection in the pond is great. Excellent work, thank you for sharing

a lot to take in in this one and using the rock adds better dof to this one,vertical format landscapes are not many on hear compared to horizontal ones perhaps people think they don,t look right but hear you have one that does,nice one....Brian
