This is a very good picture, the trees in front give it prespctive, and add more intrest and a sense of the teraine too. You caught the colors real good too.

What kind of camera do you use?

Many of your photos edge on nostalgia. They have great content. Quite homey. Composition is good and colors are rich. Nice job.

Debbie, I think this is a good photograph. The colors are great and the framing is good. However, it seems a little out of focus and it seems tilted to me. Keep them coming.

Thank you beautiful for your review!

I would love this photo if the tree wasn't directly in front of the barn. The ones on the sides of the photo I can handle. Otherwise, the shot is good. I think you did a good job at capturing the red color of the barn and the cropping is good.

Yep, I felt the same way to a certain extent. However, I was on posted property and didn't want to dodge buckshot! Thank you very much for your review jnxs!!!!!!!!

I keep coming back to this photo trying to figure out what seems to be missing. I think that the barn needs to be in the lower left corner so that the hills in the background provide some context. the hills could be sharp or blurred, that doesn't matter. I think a bit wider angle as well.

But then again somtimes I'm told I put too much in my photos, so take this with a grain of salt! :)

Thank you badbit!! I do agree with you, couldn't make that happen because there was a utility pole with a transformer on it at the back right of the barn. Thank you for your review and rating!!!

Lowrider - I really like this. To me it seems out of focus in the right areas and it almost gives it a painting like look. It looks like it should be on a postcard! Good job and keep it up!

Wow! I probobly would not give this barn a second look if I saw if for myself, but you have made it interesting to look at. The red and green look great together. Great job!

I like looking at barns: they just make interesting subject matter, photo or traditional art. :) I really like the detail of the landscape behind the barn: those brown/dead shrubs are interesting to look at. The trees in front are a bit distracting though: it's harder for me to get a good focus on the barn (although I read in the other reviews why that was: ouch: pain would not be good). Overall though, nice subject as well as photo!

I use a rating system to evaluate all photos. I tend to be a bit tough, but I do this in hopes it will help other fellow photographers in taking great pictures. I am no expert either, this is just my opinion. But I hope it helps you.

Focus/Sharpness: 8 Good focus, a bit distroted possibly from resizing?
White Balance/Lighting: 9 Good lightning and balance.
Depth of Field/Backgrounds: 8 DOF could be bigger for this landscape shot, but it is nice.
Frame/Cropping: 9 I like the framing and position of this one, cool how you went through a few trees.
Overall Photo: 9 Great job, hard to keep up with all your postings. :-)

Hey! Thank you so much Mile!!!!!!!!!!! Postings---just found this site and have at least 8 years of pictures, but not many worth posting, on the slow down here!! Shot a few today on the way to town, finished up the role, developed, will post some of them, since I have learned a ton from you!!!! Just hope I have applied what I have absorbed from you reviews. Kid and I are going shooting Monday, can't wait, so excited he, Chase, has shown such interest! I sooo appreciate your, so-called, 'toughness'. I was raised by the next to biggest Ahole I ever came across, my father-in-law topped Dad, and he backed down from me------so love the tough and shootin' from the hip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your reviews are most important to me!!!!

Now this is a beautiful barn. The photo is very good, I really like the colors and the framing is also good. Once again I think that there is a small problem in the focus.
