This is a wonderful shot. Did you take it yourself while holding the baby? I like the dark background. I hope you frame this for your daughter. She will always treasure this shot.

Spike6398, this deserves a comment. One sees this idea attempted frequently and often very effectively, and often not so successfully. Your rendition is among the former. It is really an appealing photograph with good focusing and composition and an effective background. It is just a bit over exposed, however, and the cost is some important detail. A great shot, nonetheless.
Peace, Papa.

What a precious keepsake for you to cherish throughout all time. It's amazing how similar the characteristics of her hand's features are to yours. I can appreciate the value in a shot that captures how delicate, fragile and small they all start out as, so embraceable and trusting in those newfound hours. You should take a similar shot with the hands in different positions, once a year as she grows older, reflecting the growth. That would be something to look back and reflect upon.

Great shot. The softness and strength of this subject draws out a great deal of emotion. I especially like the black background. Well done!

Nice shot I could feel the closeness of this Dad and his little one. Crisp lines nice colors jump opff of the page. I could see all the lines in both hands nicely done.

The subjest is wonderful. I think you covered here fingers too much. They would look great grasping one of yours. I hope to see lots more from you soon.

This is a very moving image. The flesh tones look really good against the dark background, but it got just a little too much flash on the baby's thumb. Very artistic composition, in focus, good framing.
