While I don't really care a fig for lizards... you have a picture that should make it into the picture books. This shot is wonderful.

Wow, that's a cool picture. I like how you caught him with his tail curled around like that, makes for a very visually interesting photo. Good framing, good color, contrast is good, I like that the background is blurred, showing depth, while your subject is in focus. Super!

I love this shot. He's just trying to blend in. hehe
You did a good job with this one. The background is
blurry but the king is sharp as a tack. And I just love
the way his tail is curled. Bravooooo !

Now be honest, how many pictures of this little
guy do you really have? J/K LOL

I know if it were me I would have a whole roll of him.
Hope to see more like this. Great job.

Good luck

DigitalNovice, good shot, sharply focused on the lizard, but the photograph's extremely cluttered background detracts significantly. Peace, Papa.

Just by chance....I saw him...he didnt see me for at least 1 minute.

I love his tail. It gives him quite the character, posing for you and all, basking in Cuba's heat. This little lizard has some fascinating detail and coloring. I like the rock you captured him on with all its nooks and cranies. The backdrop, although lush and colorful, does compete with your main subject for focus with its busy tones. You definetly, however, achieved a crisp and balanced shot of the this inhabitant. I look forward to more of your work.

Thank you I appreciate the details of your comments. I liked many of the same things you did and I was very please with the overall outcome. Most times these little guys decide to bolt just when you press the button.

Actually, I meant to mention what a restless subject that lil dude can prove to be. They're incredibly fast on the draw. I'm impressed with your equally fast shooting, without disturbing him in all his glory.

DIGITALNOVICE, at least some creatures know how to relax and enjoy themselves. This picture made me smile, very good picture, very good subject.
