The proportions and details in the face are good. A bit too much shadowing in the bottom part of his face however...maybe bring his face up just a bit. Also too much forehead and the shading is off there creating a distraction.
Overall good job, you show talent...spend lots of time developing it and you'll get somewhere!

Beautiful pencil sketch that portrays an inner sense of reflection. I like the shading that lends shape and depth to the head covering as well as the textured quality found in your style of drawing. This is quite affecting in its simple capturing of his face, yet so powerful.

I enjoy this piece of work, it makes the viewer fill in the blanks... While not to strong on detail the viewer sees what is not there... This art has a real good feel to it...It makes me think of art in the early days...Keep up the good work...

stinkay42, this is another very good drawing, although I don't understand your note; but that is not important. The manner in which you have rendered the downcast eyes here, and the hood of the cape is excellent. The only problem I see is that the beard and neck area are too dark, in my humble opinion. Thank you for allowing us to see these drawings.
