This is a nice, scenic photo. I like the depth in this one, the colors are great as well. I see a little haziness in the background, but not enough to bother me one bit. The clarity is also done well. Very nice job.

Oh this was a "BARN". The owner had time and money. Most farmers would not have spent the money on the decorative finish to the roof top. Good composition. The angle and detail of the roof line and silo are well done. I like the green in front and the browner fields in the back almost speaks of the barns transition from its prior glory to its ghostly bleakness now. I adore old barn shots...is it to obvious. Thanks for sharing.

exposure problems with this shot, the shadows are too dark and the sky is, well not there, over all it has a very bland feel

Another nice country scene that is certianly pleasant.

Composition is good the the distant landscape shot ... nice.
Sky is almost not there so a graduated filter might be something you'd consider.

a good photo.

You said it, it does project ghostly and lonely appearance. Sits nicely on the hill.. Frame perfecly with srubs and grain bin. Outstanding foreground color bance and visual appeal.. For sure deserves all the visibility it is getting.

I really love that old barn & this rural setting - well done. Did you get any close-up of it? It looks like there could be some great textures there! The only thing I would have done with this picture is crop some of the top out a little. The top of those hills leading into the pale sky loses my interest a bit.

Thank you very much kop!! Nope, no close-ups, but will probably go back after Christmas when there is snow and take a few shots, will certainly keep close-up in mind!

I like the dark green, that is only apparent around the barn. The barn is very dark, keeping your eyes on the subject. The build of the barn is cool too, the roofs make it very unique, orion008.

It does have a erie feel to it.. and a nice view.. Great perspective on this shot. Good contrast and I really like the expansive view. Sometimes we are tempted to get to close a wonderful photo.

Always love to look at photos such as these, they bring me back to my roots. Seems that you have created your own style of photography the way you photograph old barn, tractors and farms. We have a place in the country we go part time to in Florida. I love to visit my old farm buddies like the goats, horses, bison and whatever.

Thank you howdy!! Yep, my roots too, I am almost 48, but grew up in Shenandoah Valley in VA when VA's times was behind the rest of the US, some of earliest memories, out house, baths in a washtub, ring washers, ringin' chicken's necks for dinner-------I do have my own style and it is not appreciated by many, don't care, I shoot from my heart with great passion. You make me smile!!!!!!!!! Thanks again!!!!!! P.S. I always emptied the 'night pots' into the out house when I stayed with my grandparents, was often, my Grandmother had two names for me, I can hear her now, "PissPot, you my favorite granddaughter." Welp, I was her only Granddaughter! LOL!!!
