Beautiful photo. The DOF and clarity in this are remarkable. Very sharp focus and clarity. Composition is perfect. The background has an almost painted look to it.

Your right, with the bare land around it gives the feeling abandonment. I think if the barn is the focal point than maybe a little tighter around it. Or maybe if you had the opportunity to get closer with a more direct angle would make this perfect.

This is a very good photo; especially how the background puts it out in the middle of nowhere. Also between the preservation of the barn and the clarity of the photo; it look like it could be occupied again at any time. Good touch on bringing the fence right through into the foreground.

I like these kind of structure landscape
photos. This one is nicely arranged and I
do enjoy the background you allowed
in the composition. I feel the photograph
would have benefited from early morning
light or perhaps late afternoon or
early evening. Still you are doing interesting
work.

Thank you so much pg!!!!!! Yep, that's my plan, AM, need to learn a lot more, especially about lighting and time of day!! Thank you again for your advice!!!!

I like the way the barn was caught in shadow, but the land beyond in light. I would allow for a little more land on this side of the barn for greater DOF. Nice shot!

Very nice shot of a sweeping landscape with some great colors. The house in the foreground is the focal point but looks a bit too dark causing loss of detail. At a better time of day this could be a great shot.

Nice Barn. : )
I always like photograph of old run down buildings they have a real atmosphere about them.
I would guess by the lighting here you shot this about midday.
I would love to see this photographed at noon, that would add even more atmosphere to the shot.

Thank you so much Mark!!!!!!! Probably around 1:00 PM. I am going to try to get out there for a morning shot while sun is lower 'round 11:00 AM then go from there. Thank you for your most appreciated advice!!

Nice composition. The background looks a little washed out, but that may just be because it's a small version of your image. Nice color and clarity in the foreground. I love the shape of the barn next to the silo. Nice job.
