This is a very nicely composed scene. I like the mystery you've captured with the mist, and black & white is always good for taking advantage of dramatic lighting situations. The only thing I would change is I would crop some of the bright sunlight out - it makes that section of the image look really over exposed. Nice job. :)

What a great black and white photo. I love the depth of view all the way out to what looks to be a pier covered in mist. The sun peeping through the clouds on one side while a stormy looking sky is brewing on the other. Really good.

This is a really beautiful picture. It's a little on the dull side, and the hot spot where your light sun is is kind of distracting. If you sharpened it up a little. I think it would look a lot better... Thanks!

I think this photo is awesome, I love the silhouette of all the images not just what's in the distance but what is also on the beach, I see a lot of potential for many other shots that you could have captured such as footprints in the sand, silhouette of two people holding hands. Great Photo.

I liked this picture-but thought that you with a little burning and dodging that you might be able to bring a little more of those clouds in the back out a tad bit more. Nice job

toonboy, what a wonderful setting. Who lives in this priory? I imagine an order of monks. Could I join up? Would they let me bring my camera, my smokes and coffee maker? Now, back to your photograph which in some ways is superb. The setting and composition are great and the light on the sea looks magnificent. You have achieved great depth with even the mist in the far, far distance being visible. It is unfortunate, however, that the water on the beach and that large area in the sky are so bright. Also, I think the whole mood of the image would be enhanced if the beach were empty. Nevertheless, there is great potential here and I would give it another shot, if possible. But, do keep in mind the buildings are not recognizable as a priory and could be seen as cluttering up the horizon. Peace, Papa.

Very nice shot the compostion is quite nice. the glare of the water is just a bit to bright and becomes distracting. I look forward to seeing more of your work.
