I love this composition. I like how you captured this structure surrounding by trees and the fence is a nice feature. I am not sure you want the road to appear in the background if you want the eye to focus on the house. Still a nice effort once again.

Lowrider, you have an eye for these kind of shots! There are some things in this that are great. The lines. The white line across the front of the building runs along a 3rd. The tepee (I guess that's what it is) is sitting pretty close to a 3rd. The trees framing on the left are on a 3rd. (Do you get the feeling that I find 3rds important?). The steeple is pretty well centered. Since this picture was not taken facing the building directly, it is better to center the overall weight of the steeple, which you did here, and not the actual center. It does feel a little flat, though the trees do add nice depth. Shot with a telephoto, and then cropped? That's kind of how it feels, because it seems a bit fuzzy, too. Now, the road. I like the road, and roads are great lines in pictures, but this one is just too much at the top of the frame, and leads the eye right out of the picture. I don't think it ruins the picture, but it does distract. Oh, by the way, the fence in front adds a nice line also. It runs very straight along the bottom of the frame, and leads the eye right into the subject.

Thank you very much shiver!!!!!!! Yep, I think I am 'getting' the 3rd thing! Very interesting and anxious to go on another shoot with that in mind!!!!!! Yes, 70-300 zoom, cropping was right side, little more than 1/4" to include all of pine tree by the teepee and a little less than that along the bottom to get rid of some fence post I found distracting. I guess if the road were in the foreground it would work much better, have gotten several mixed reviews about the road and I see what all are saying. Again, I so greatly appreciate your attention to my photographs and all the terrific information you take the time to feed me!!!!!!! You are most appreciated!!!!!!!!!

I can see why!!!! It is beautiful scenery, they way the house is tucked back in behind the trees is perfect!! (IMHO). The colors of the house, the fences in front and the trees make for a vivid picture!! Very nicely done!

Hi Debbie, Love the nice clear sharp bright photo's you're posting lately. This is very nice. The white fence leading off to the right and the nice way the house in nestled in the trees is very nice. A very nice shot!

There is nothing better than being slapped by scenery, unless it's getting a great shot of it! Nice capture here Lowrider, I like the bright reds and dark greens. Keep shooting!
