I like the wispy clouds drifting across the landscape, and the idea of the unending vistas. I don't like the harsh lighting.

Great photograph! This photograph is magnificent to look at. I love how green the trees are in the foreground. The mountains are beautiful and the clouds add to the photo. Great job!

This is a majestic shot Low, nice composition. To me the background seems to be a little washed out, maybe the time of day and lighting, I don't know. Nice job!!

The depth and distance of the landscape is very well shown here, and low clounds really add to the sense of vastness - nice

The scenery in this photo is very beautiful. I like the clouds in it very much because it gives a sense of the enormity of the mountains. I think a little more sky in the shot would add to it. Still great job!

Very nice composition, Debbie, but just as it is tough to capture the glory of a magnificent sunrise or sunset, it is tough to get a lovely panoramic landscape. This one just ends up too overexposed the further back you look.

Lowrider, you have proven your eye for composition! What this needs is more depth and contrast. The trees in front have deep colors, and good contrast. As the depth goes back, the picture becomes more flat, and really gets washed out. By the time it gets to the sky, it is completely washed out. The subject is great. Was this shot with the sun high? Once the sun gets from 1/4 to 1/3 up, the depth in wide angle shots really goes down. There are some things that can help. A polarizer can sometimes add depth, especially to the sky. Also, some level adjustments in photoshop can help. I have a couple of pictures that had been shot with a high sun, and I had been working on in photoshop lately, and just couldn't get them right.

Thank you shiver!!!!!!!!! Yes, high sun with a lot of low clouds beginning to break. The clouds 'hang' right on the mountains.
