LowRider the very minute I saw this title, before the image emerged I knew we had a fantastic story here! I was so very right! Not only are you one of the finest photograhers I know and admire you are also one of the finest people I am honorned to say I am acquainted with and would love more than anything to get to know you better! Gosh tjmcc, I don't even know how to respond to your wonderful and loving words---I just love people and somehow I connect with their beautiful souls, it is just strange, but Scratch acted totaly like I was his family. Wouldn't it be terrific to just meet up some place amazing, just talk, laugh, act crazy, take a few pics!! You are a sweetheart!! Thank you again for this very touching review!!

This is a beautiful story of scratch...lol and I dread to think what he scratches!!!What a dear old soul and was happy with your company. The way this old cabin sits..a little wonky on the footings is an enchanting image from my imagination. The sun shining on the roof of it is a delightful contrast against the red of the cabin.LowRider...you are such a kind soul with this 90 year old and he is blessed to know you.Beautiful.

LOL!! Yep, I wondered a bit about the scratch too!! Thank you Sim, for such a sweet and wonderful review!! Although, I feel I am the one that is blessed to meet such incredible people, every time I walk away with a life lesson! By the way, he I have never seen him scratch---probably like me, always had poison ivy somewhere as a kiddo!

Incredible. Your stories are as interesting as the pictures. What can I say the picture is sharp and interesting. Color and texture are a perfect focal point in this photo. You do such a great job! I only wish I had the time to just enjoy life and all others company as much as you do. I get so excited when I see one of your shots because I know I will get an incredibly interesting story.

Wonderful story to go with a very interesting photo! One doesn't get to meet a person like this that often and I will bet you have been back since! Sounds like a sweet old man! The photo is well focused and the old house has a nice coat of paint on it! Nice clarity in the photo, and again, wonderful story!

Lowrider you run into so many interesting people. I wish I had the nerve like you do to go up and meet them. I love the story as well as the quaint little house. The color stands out so nicely against the background. Excellent photo and story

Wow...that was a touching story...I am glad that you found this older gentleman....I like the house, such a deep red..its a beautiful color that you have captured for all of us to see...Great clarity, and the depth of field is well portrayed by the angle...Nicely done Deb!!

Lovely & charming story. In fact I think I like the story better than the photograph! The harsh lighting doesn't make for a particularly stunning image, but as a representation of your time with Scratch its wonderfull.
