You know I have noticed you do a lot of buildings and scenery ...Don't get me wrong, they are good too....But I think you have missed your calling!

Your portraits are flawless you pick just the right subject and portray them with infinant possiblities...this is another good one, Funny how great minds think alike... Old Jim in my story picks up trash and collects cans and does good deeds...He is homeless and that makes for an interesting tale.

I bet...this women from that caf'e could tell stories as well! Small towns are the greatest for true art and characters!
SNAP ON... the camera that is...

You so flatter and humble me Diny!! Yep, I love people and need to take more portraits and tell about their life, the elders bring such tremendous joy to my life!! What an uplifting and wonderful review, I thank you so very much!!

Very nice job. I like this picture. The lighting is wonderful and I have to admit that I was looking really close at the glasses she is wearing, just to try and find one flaw....to see if your reflection was visible. But it was not. You did a great job on this. I give you an A+.

A very well done portrait of Myrna! The focus, the clarity, the lighting, the color, the depth of field and the framing are all impecably done!!! The story - wow - what a life of Willy. He is a kind man with an incredibly colorful history. I well remember your picture of Willy and all the character in his face that you captured. It is good to know the story of that character - tragic though it is. Thanks for sharing, LowRider!

The photo itself could tell a wide possibility of stories but the one you've told us makes that photo incredibly touching and intimate. The values are great and I love that you've captured each individual wrinkle in Myrna's face.

I missed the stories ;-) Very nice portrait. It is framed perfectly. You have left some space above her head, which keeps her from feeling cramped. Her eyes are (almost, close enough for good balance) on the upper line of third. Very sharp photo, you really captured the detail in her face. The lighting is pretty good, especially for a candid portrait. Great job!

Very nice portrait, I just love the expression on the face. You may want to look into getting a polarising filter. It does two great things for you. One it takes out tose annoying reflections like in her eyes. Second, it does a great job of turning a washed-out sky into a dark blue. It does steal a little light.

Thank you hay!! This is the second chapter, the one you did was a portrait of Willy himself, this is Myrna talkin' to me about Willy.

This is quite a story about Willy. It is very sad about what happened to him, getting hit in the head and all. What gets me is the fact that, he is not a person living in anger about the things in his life, that were lost from the accident. The money, the job. He seems(from what you've written)- to be content with the Life. Great story and photo of Myrna. Orion008.

Hey Debbie, great but tragic story. I think hearing stuff like this is always a wakeup call, life seems damn fragile we all need to take stock occasionally and have a good look at what we have got! When we have and taken a look around us we probably ought to be more than a little thankful. Thanks for sharing Willy's story!
