Okay, now you've done it. You pulled so dang hard on my heart strings I think yah went and broke them. This picture is outstanding. The framing is perfect, it really picks up every hard working, worry, loving line in her face. ( now's there a country song in that, if I ever heard one). Great color and clarity, and blah, blah, blah, blah ,blah. Deb as someone who works with the elderly everyday and has seen things that are unmentionable, not to mention unbelievable. Your story, along with the photo's are very though provoking and I look forward to more.

Gosh, sas, what a tremendous straight from the bottom of the heart review! I have a great passion for people especially the elderly because they are so often passed by in life. My son, Chase, calls both of his Grandmother's(Grandfathers passed) every weekend because he wants to. They both so look forward to his calls as none of the other grandkids make the effort. I so thank you for such a wonderful and 'git it' review! Still stalkin' Willy!! OH!! 'bout the song, I'll write it, you sing it--deal! People threatin' to shoot me when I sing-----------------!!!!!!!

Low, this is a really nice shot. I love the expressions you get from people. But the reflection in her glasses is really distracting.

Thank you Scott!!! In journalism photography it is a bit different than taking a portrait of someone.

This is a nice portrait. You've captured a lot of detail here. It would be nice if there wasn't so much glare in her glasses. That is hard to control! :)

I love the way the warm sensitivity of the woman shines through. She certainly has great character and strength. Not going to mention the reflection on glasses, but will say...great exposure, clarity, and capture of emotions.

Wow. What a story. Great shot. Well framed, the expression is priceless. The detail is great. Is this Willy or Myrna. Looks like a woman to me?? Maybe my eyesight is going too.

LOL!! My eyesight started droopin' a few years back, you jist fine! This is Myrna, portrait of Willy is the first chapter in this book. A decent and sad read! Thank you very much gold!!

I'm so pleased that you were able to find out about Willy. I just joined Fanart last week, but did see your picture of him, and have wondered about him, as have you. Thank you for sharing this story...heartbreaking, to say the least. But still some wonderful bits in it. This picture of Myrna tells many stories too. The "tip of your tongue" kind, where you get the feel for them, but don't quite know them. Her face speaks volumes; if only we could read the words and know her stories, too. Beautifully done. (and might I add, I sure miss my own shootin' adventures. No handguns allowed in England...sigh...)

Nice story telling about Willy, facial expressions say it all. Her eyeglass reflection kind of adds to the impact of photo when usually one tries to eliminate it. Coloration natural and very in focus. Nice Portrait photo LowRider.
