Interest (if not unusual) tree structure. This alone makes for a great shot. Having the person in the centres adds to the picture. What can I say, nice shot!

This is really good shot. The tree(s) are beautiful and grand. A perfect spot for hubby to be shot. :) Great job with the lighting - you kept that bright sun in check. Nicely done!

First impressiion is of course the Tree .... WOW.

I'll try to look at it as I know you would look at a photo.
The lower left corner is strong and overexposed .....
I see the overall content, the chosen location and snapshot of a loved one, as a Fun photo and a good story to tell.
An excellent photo.

OK, did God shape that tree like that..who else! Composition is superb and the black white on the hubby is a very good contrast. A 10 point rating ...:: I see the initial impact as-10 , lighting as-10 , overall composition as-10 , color harmony as-9 , center of interest as-10 , technical excellence as-9 , self expression as-9 , and distinctive presentation as-10 .

I would love to have a toilet like that in my bathroom, it just makes 'going' all that much more interesting! :) There's a symmetrical element to this photo that i enjoy a lot and it's mostly due to the tree trunks. Love it!

Great photo Debbie!
He actually looks quite comfortable there! :) There seems to be a white strip accross the top of the photo that should be cropped off.
I like your composition here. Great work!

Thank you so much j!! Yep, I saw that white stip this AM, started to repost, but think I will wait until I get my new scanner before I start redoing anything. By the way, do you scan photos to upload on here? If you do, what kind of scanner? Your photos are stunningly crisp especially being uploaded!!

I use a digital camera. Some are from film, with those I have used a Visioneer scanner and done a lot of touch ups in photoshop! :) It's hard to get a good scan!
