Excellent photo with great focus! This old log cabin has a story or two to tell! You met the new owner and got us this nice photo! Does Sophia own a FLY SWATTER and that is why you left so soon?? lol It would be cool to see the inside of an old place like this!

LOL nice Deb....Great work on this one, the cabin is simple, yet effecient...great colors, (hey see if he wants to sell it....lol perfect place for me lol) I like how you captured this cabin, it takes up the whole frame...which shows a lot more of the details. Nice work!

Great capture of a fantastic old relic. They sure did build things to last. Great composition and clarity. Wonderful view of the roof against the bright blue sky. Well done.

Very nice capture of the old log cabin. Like the way you framed the picture and the old blue roof really sets it off. Reminds me Lincoln Logs I played with when I was little/ Nicely done

I saw this earlier today but did not have time to rate it. Love the old cabin and your story. Sounds like you were on the road again. Bob

Very nice photo and a great story to go with it. I've also found that if you just talk to people it's amazing what you can do. Keep up the great work.

Yep, older people are so much fun, often they are lonely. Bruce lost his wife a few years before and Sophia was like his first 'date' since. Warms my heart!! Thank you so much tom!!

Looks like one of my cabins LowRider except this is made of old timber and mine is made out of oil....lol.I think this is charming and takes me back to the days of cowboys and indians. It looks structurally sound but I suppose it's a bit dangerous for you to take a peek inside.Beautifully photographed.

Yes ma'am, I keep tellin' ya I can find your beautiful creations! Speaking of yours made of oil--LOL--do you spray oil paintings with a clear protection to preserve them? May sound a little stupid, not the last time I will sound this way, but please humor me and let me know about the presevation of your art! Thank you so much Sweet Sim!!

Wow sis! What an incredible find! Just beautiful! Really love the story as well. I would love to tag along with you. Have you thought of carrying a movie camera with you too? The shots you get are incredible, but the stories you have are so wonderful, they could make a terrific documentary of everyday life with extraordinary people! Wonderful sis! Just love it!

No, really haven't thought seriously about a video, but so often I leave wishing I did capture more of the moment. The type of people I meet are just down to earth as myself, and they are extra ordinary, loving, fun people! That is a great idea and will file in my surface thoughts instead of the archive!! Thank you so much Lady Sweetnote!! We would have a blast taggin' together!!! sis

Thank you so much goldi!! I just get out and start driving/riding and go down backroads not knowing where I am or where I might end up but do know it's gonna come out somewhere I can get home from! Just the calmness of the seldom traveled roads brings a great piece of mind to me and when I do manage to find some old crap it is a major boost to my day!!

I like the old familiar feeling of this picture... It draws me into my writings and character's I have developed over the years.
There's so much personality in this piece... so much emotion, I admire your talent yet again.
