I think you really captured the feel of this place. Looks to me like it must have been right in the middle of a hot day..great story telling. I love the colors in this too..there is one thing though... the color of the roof seems to blend in with the sky a little, but the detail you've captured on the roof helps to keep it from totally disappearing. Overall, a very nice photo!

I use a rating system to evaluate all photos. I tend to be a bit tough, but I do this in hopes it will help other fellow photographers in taking great pictures. I am no expert either, this is just my opinion. But I hope it helps you.

Focus/Sharpness: 4
White Balance/Lighting: 3
Depth of Field/Backgrounds: 5
Frame/Cropping: 5
Overall Photo: A great photo, a bit of harsh lighting (burnouts where it is all pure white). I gotta be real tough on you on this one, as you are really producing some awesome stuff. This one is just not as good as your others, but still very nice.

This has a lot of rustic charm. I love the green rooftop against the worn logs. It's angle is great with the focus toward the enterance. The lighting is very clear.
