Excellent piece nice use of colors and the sheer of the lines is exquisite.
I felt great emotion from your figure as if she was in charge of everything and do not bother her, excellent.

That is an interesting review of this piece. I think that it is so fasinating to hear what others think when they see my work, which is a big reason of why I put it up here. And after reading your other comments, I see more that you are very good at analyzing work, you almost do it in a poetic manner. Thats awesome, thank you.

I like the crackle and aged look of this piece! I love backgrounds and yours works great! Reminds me of my mother at this age! Thanks!

Yeah, the paper that I so coincidentally selected really did MAKE this piece. Wtihout it, I think the drawing would have been boring and trashy. I was a little sketchy about using it, but in the end I was amazed at how well it worked. Thank you so much.

Korri, this woman is not so fearful! Indeed she is very appealing and the drawing is excellent in my view. There is tremendous detail which is extremely effective and I admire the colours and shading. I am wondering, however, about what I thought were veins running throughout the woman's neck and chest. Now, I'm not sure what they are, but they are most unattractive. All in all, nevertheless, this a very impressive drawing.
Peace, Papa

Well, they are not veins, just the way I decided to draw it, however veins were not on my mind when I did. Even if they were, there is no rule that says you can't draw some protruding veins...right?... I defend this because I am pretty sure that I have purposely done this on different drawings. Thank you for your feedback.

Beautiful portrait of a beautiful lady.

I was wondering: was it created only by drawing? Because it doesn't look this way.

What kind of paper did you use?

Thank you.

It was definitely just colored pencil and maybe I used a little white chalk... I can't remember if I did that or just thought about it. The paper was parchment paper I think. It was very interesting to try that and I would reccommend it. Thank you for checking out my stuff and letting me know what you think..

This is a gorgeous portrait, and I really like the look in her eyes and the wonderful job you did on her period clothing. Very well done. I look forward to seeing more of your work. :)
