Are you sure you found the best subject for this portrait? ....lol.........Oh, I see its for your mum!
I think its good as self portraits go, but couldn't you have lost the glasses, so we & mum could see your eyes? Or are the glasses to much a part of your (tough) LOOK? ;-)

LOL!! I am quite sure this is not the Best subject, but am mum's only daughter, so narrows down quite a bit!! Sent to the mum for fun and to aggrivate her a bit more! Don't have a tough look, just a consentrated look when riding bike as in bio pic. Need some night cream do I?!! Thank you very much for your fun review!!

You are a good portrayist (I dont know if is right to say that) but you look terrific and fun. I like your shot, with a very good composition and very sharp. The pose is very good and you are really pretty. I like more this face than the serious one in your bio. Congratulations

It's a nice fun shot of you that brings out a lively personality, that I am sure you must have for sharing the conversation exchange between you and your Mom. Thanks for sharing it.

Haaaaaaaaaaaaa!! This should shake up some of the "old girls" at Sunday school! My Mom is a devote born again Christian that goes to church every time the doors are open to pray for her "heathen" family!!! Don't get me wrong, I believe...I just don't think I have to keep a pew warm to get to heaven. Some of those "Holier than Thou" types might be in for a surprise.

Well LowRider, I did like the picture but I loved your little conversation with your mama:-)). Definitely brought a smile on a cold dull day. My hats off to your mama.
As to the shot itself, you did a great job of framing it. I like the angle of the tree and your position against it. Also, I like the fact that there is no clutter in the photo -- it is just you that comes to focus. Great job.

Great self portrait. I actually like the contrast of your black clothing against the tree. The Jack Daniels shirt should go over well at church..:).

I love your ma! She's awesome and sounds like she really keeps you in line. And we all know how hard that would be! Whew...wears me out just thinking about it! Anyway, let's discuss this photo! Oh you pretty little thing with that amazing sweatshirt and sunglasses! Excellent use of tripod. Must have been much easier that the rock photo from before because at least you made it into this one! (You know...run to the rock...run to the camera...lol) Anyway, you really did an excellent job on this one Deb! Such great jubilant emotion (which I am personally happy to see) and excellent color and lighting. Actually Beautiful coloring on this one Low! Really love the tree, your positioning and all the wonderful detail and you really look pretty with that grey hair!---uh...Light ash Blonde-(((Low)))
